1. Introduction
Realtime Research conducts market research recruitment on behalf of its clients. It also provides an Internet based capability to host questionnaires.
The purpose of registering as a Member of Realtime Research is so that you can participate from time to time in PAID market research projects.
2. Participation in Surveys
Realtime Research will advise Members by email, SMS or telephone when a project is active. In the case of email, the message will normally have a "link" to the location containing the questionnaire. You would click on this link to enter the questionnaire. (Note that this link is coded to contain a unique one time LOGIN code and password. You should follow all instructions regarding the completion of the questionnaire. The frequency of email invitations to Members will vary. SMS messages will only be sent to members with their permission. SMS messages will normally advise a Member to refer to their emails or to contact a specific telephone number. The SMS message may include a unique code for that Member to use.
3. Screening Questionnaires
Projects will usually involve members completing a brief first stage "screening" questionnaire. This selects those members who fit a particular set of characteristics (eg age range, gender, product usage, location etc). If a member does not meet the profile required for the project no further action is required and no payment is made.
If a member does meet the project requirements then they may be invited to participate in the full project. This could involve completing an online survey, attending a market research session at a convenient location, a focus group, or perhaps evaluating a product in their home or participating in an interview.
4. Completed Projects
Members will be advised when they have been selected for a project. Those who successfully complete a project will receive a reward payment. The amount paid will be advised to the member prior to the commencement of the project.
5. Project Participation
At all times participation is purely voluntary and a member may choose not to participate in any project despite meeting all of the characteristics for that project. Realtime Research will advise the member once they have successfully completed a project. Incomplete projects or non attendees at a session will not receive payment.
6. Payment
Realtime Research pays members for completing Market Research projects. For example the reward payment for members who attend a Focus group will usually paid in cash at the end of the session. However payment may also be in the form of a gift voucher or cheque.
7. Confidentiality
Members who participate in projects are requested not to discuss the nature or outcomes of any project with any other party.
8. Exclusions
Members and their immediate family members are not permitted to be employed by Realtime Research or by any other Market Research company.
